What is this?

The LOK Fanfiction Dictionary is run by C, B and R. We got the idea because all of us are very selective about fic. R is an ace fic writer, she has amazing taste and she can analyze your ass off, C has a book review background that they wanted to bring into this and and B went a few rounds as a lit mag editor. So…we know our stuff.

None of us have seen a blog really dedicated to fanfiction. We’ve seen one’s list them, which is fine and we’re thankful for them because that have introduced us to new fic, but this one isn’t for that.

We will be reviewing fics and having author spotlights from people we really like. We will also be posting quotes from various fics that we enjoy as well. 

Reviews

Reviews will be posted for each fic that we choose. If you would not like your fics reviewed feel free to send us a message. We cannot answer private because this isn’t a primary blog, but we will not answer publicly. We will send an anon message letting you know that we got your request.

If you want to submit fic for us to read and review use the submit tool. Reviews are based on grammar, prose, plot and how it made us feel after we finished it.

Warning: All three of us OTP ship Mako/Korra. BUT, we are very loving of all ships and will read anything. So we need you guys to send us stuff from all ships since we don’t see them as much. Help us with the diversity of this blog.  

There will be author spotlights on this blog once a month, highlighting an author we think has a stellar repertoire and/or stellar potential. We will also have spotlights for multi-chapter fics, since the fandom is seriously lacking in them. (Bring on the long-fic please XD)

The purpose of this blog is not to make anyone feel bad, which is why we have included the option to omit your work from review. But to help people become better writers and to help readers find better quality fics. Also we hope to improve the quality of fic in fandom because we live for it.

We will never review in a malicious way, even if it is a negative one. We will go out of our way to be fair and honest, highlitghing the good and bad.
